Southern Utah Fly Fishing Report...

Access To the Upper Fremont is good right now with it possible to drive all of route 25 from Millmeadow res' to Fishlake, access is also possible to U.M Creek through water Flat and the flows there are low.
Millmeadow reservoir is full and spilling as well as Forsyth res' and Johnson Valley Res' fishing is  best at this time of year on mill meadow with woolly buggers close to shore and in the newly flooded areas of the reservoir for browns, the reservoir is Ice free, also the inlet from U.M Creek in to Millmeadow is good using Pheasant Tail Nymphs fished deep...
The Fremont above Millmeadow is also fishing well , this stretch of river has experienced anchor Ice the last couple of years forcing the fish to move up river closer to the springs, or downstream to the reservoir
the best fishing has been closer to the reservoir as the fish move back up stream... with runoff flows from Johnson valley Reservoir the the stream is at a optimal flow, best flies have been pheasant Tail nymphs sz. 14 and 12.
Ice is pulling away from the sides of Johnsons and is unsafe,  Ice is also pulling away from the edges of Fishlake with about 100 feet of open water in some spots, ice is unsafe, the rainbows are stacked near Twin Creeks in anticipation of the spawn and the fishing has been good expect company there on nicer days,  and there are some Rainbows in twin creeks, reminder that twin creeks it's self is closed to fishing.
Forsyth Reservoir is Ice Free, the fishing there has been slow.
