The Upper Fremont is still at perfect flows as Johnson Valley Reservoir continues to spill off the over flow, fishing has slowed some... there is a little bit of color in the water now most likely caused by the increased run off from the Seven Mile Creek drainage... still did fair however at the confluence of millmeadow reservoir using an olive woolly bugger...
Thousand Lakes mtn. is fairly accessable now although there are still a few muddy spots and a couple small passable drifts they should be gone soon with the warm weather. fishing has been incredible at Round Lake try brown buggers fished deep, Morel pond and Meeks are also fishing well...
Boulder Mtn is now open to fishing although access is limited due to Snow, most of the lower elevation lakes are open and have been fishing good... again using leech patterns fished deep... swing by the shop for are favorite imitations... as the ice comes off the Big Brook trout are more easily caught... the key is to be the first in to a lake as the ice comes off.
U.M through water flat is still low and clear, the Cut-throat are still spawning up there and so they are often found at the back of the runs... a peasant tail nymph fished right up under the bank is working best for us right now...
FISHLAKE is are ticket of the week, was up there today using a copper prince and one of our local patterns and was on to some fat health Rainbows nearly every cast... it was incredible... swing by the shop for more info on fly selection.... and remember that we have float tube rentals this year at just 15 bucks a day come get one if your headed up on the mountain...
