The streams and creeks of the Area are now clear and the fishing has been great with dry flies.
Boulder mtn top is open, however there is still some drifted snow in places, stay on the road! Don’t cause ruts.
Thousand Lake mtn.
Access is possible to all Lakes on the mountain, the damsels flies are on the move.

Upper Fremont, water levels are up, fishing has been great! Use large dries and fish the side eddies and pools.

Forsyth and mill meadow,
Fishing has been great at both reservoirs in the early morning and evening, streamers or nymphs fished from the shore for cruising fish has been working great, Forsyth it helps if you have a float tube or boat.

 The rain the last few days seems to have prolonged the spring run off on Seven mile and UM creek,
The upper Fremont is running bank full for the summer, there have been consistent hatches of caddis and stone flies there.
All lakes on Boulder mountain are now accessible except the boulder top, Fishing has been good to excellent at the fishcreek beaver dam area as well as most of the other lakes, there seems to have been minimal winter kill.

There has been quiet a bit of afternoon Rain the last few days, this has prolonged the run off on sevenmile and U.M. Creek, the upper fremont is running bank full there has been some good hatches of caddis, and stone flies there.

all lakes on Boulder mountain are accessible except the Boulder Top, it should open in a couple weeks.

Southern Utah Fly Fishing Report Boulder Mtn.
Access is possible across the top from Loa to Escalante many of the side roads remain drifted in with snow though.
Access is also possible to most of the lakes and Trail heads for all lakes below the rim.

Thousand Lakes Mountain.
Access is possible as far as Tubb Flat on the Elkhorn road there are a couple big drifts blocking the road just past that.
Solomon basin and round are both accessible some of these lakes have started to turn, this has slowed the fishing.

Fishing has been good at Millmeadow, Lower Bowns, Fremont river, and on The Boulder Lakes.

The weather has been Cold and wet with both Rain and Snow slowing down and even completely stopping some of the hatches
on the U.M, Seven mile and upper Fremont, be ready to use streamers or nymphs this weekend the fish have been deep and have been holding close to cover.
the Chickadees seemed to be enjoying the colder weather though.

The fishing has been Great the last week or so, access is opening up on Boulder Mountain and the Thousand Lake mtn lakes. here are a few pictures from some of our most recent trips.

Access is possible over the top of thousand lake Mountain, and down in to round lake, but not to deepcreek yet.
we made it maybe a mile past bobshole on the donkey road, the you can make it to the trail heads on the North Slope roads, access beyond that is limited due to snow drifts.
